October 5 The Out List (2013)
A diverse group of high profile LGBTQ people talk about their individual struggles to live as authentic human beings, and share the triumphs of being out in America.

October 12 Lady Valor – The Kristen Beck Story (2014)
A film about the life and experiences of Kristen Beck, a highly decorated Navy SEAL who transitioned after she retired 2011.

October 19 Breaking Through (2013)
A documentary about elected officials who are openly LGBT. Each of them overcame fear and discrimination and were chosen by voters to represent them in their communities.

October 26 Facing Fear (2014) & Queer Spawn (2006)
Facing Fear: Matthew Boger was nearly killed for being gay when he was 13 by Tim Zaal, a neo-Nazi. The film is about their journey of reconciliation. Queer Spawn: Children of Gay parents describe the challenges they face in a society that won’t accept them because of who their parents are.
